I watched the video the day you posted it and loved it. Sent it to at least two friends.
Hi, Friend.
How is Fugitive Pieces going? She is a poet. Actually, I like her fiction more than her poetry.
It's slow going so far. It always takes me awhile to adjust to reading a new author, and especially this time it seems after whizzing through Murakami, Anne is making me sloooooow down and soak up her poetic imagery, which I very much appreciate.
First page: "No one is born just once. If you're lucky, you'll emerge in someone's arms; or unlucky, wake when the long tail of terror brushes the inside of your skull." And that's when I knew: Anne and I are going to get along just fine. Actually, she had me at the first sentence, "Time is a blind guide."
No doubt! Beautiful quotes, beautiful vid clip.
